SEATTLE / Jan. 11, 1999--Rezworks, a Seattle-based travel and reservation technologies firm, today announced that it has acquired ™, a Berkeley, Calif., company that operates the premier travel-related Web site for ski and snow vacations on the Internet.

The acquisition enables Rezworks to combine the content from (), which offers detailed property coverage for all major North American ski resorts, with Rezworks' existing travel-related site, VacationSpot.com, the most popular place online to find and book vacation properties. The sites will operate as VacationSpot.com (www.vacationspot.com).

In addition, the acquisition gives Rezworks () the ability to easily support online booking for any property management company through the 's relationship with First Resort Software and its Property Management System.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced. Six employees have joined Rezworks at their Seattle offices.
