In her new position, Ms. Nordstrom will help to position HSMAI as the leader in hospitality sales and marketing education for professionals at all levels of their career. Her responsibilities include raising the visibility of all HSMAI educational programs within the hospitality industry, identifying ways in which distance learning and technology can assist in bringing education to more members, developing resources for chapter and industry educational programs, and managing the direct sales of education services to associations and companies. Specifically with regard to Ms. Nordstrom's educational focus within HSMAI, she will be responsible for the annual Summit, the CHME certification program, chapter programming resources, the HSMAI University, and various other educational initiatives. Ms. Nordstrom joins HSMAI from the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds where she was most recently Vice President. Her strong association background also includes positions with the National Wooden Pallet & Container Association, International Association of Pallet Recyclers, American Gear Manufacturers Association, and the Central New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
