Palm Springs Marquis is ReACTA to Meeting Participants

(Palm Springs, Ca )The Palm Springs Marquis Hotel, in Palm Springs, California, one of the most technologically advanced hotels in the country has set out to solve one of the oldest meeting challenges ever, the comfortable chair. Shelby Williams' ReActa Series has solved this dilemma. The ReActa chair, using the science of ergonometrics has produced an eight-hour chair. Its' design is contoured to fit 90% of the general population. The ReActa control moves the seat up one degree for every two degrees the backrest is pushed back adjusting isometrically to the natural changes in the sitting body. The Palm Springs Marquis has purchased over four-hundred chairs to ensure large and small meetings will be offered the comfort of ReActive chair seating.

"At the heart of this unique chair is the concept known as reactive seating. This chair auto-matically reacts to the normal changes in the sitting body with subtle, supportive, isometric action, invisible to the user," states Pete Barile, Executive Vice President at Shelby Williams Industry Incorporated.

For many years one of the main issues for meeting participants has been substandard chairs. Ever since we started using the ReActa chair, our meeting satisfaction levels have risen sharply, and meeting planners have been more likely to use our facilities, all things being equal, than our competitors.
