Guests can redeem Starpoints for free nights across the globe or use them for free flights, room upgrades and amenities and gift certificates from some retail stores. Typically, guests earn two Starpoints for every US dollar spent at more than 600 hotels, including the Sheraton Park Ridge Conference Center and Hotel. During this double-point period from May 28 through September 17, guests will receive double rewards - or four points - for every US dollar spent.

Other benefits of the Starwood Preferred Guest Program include no blackout dates when it comes to award stays and the opportunity to transfer Starpoints into more than 20 airline programs. Among the many other program benefits, the Starwoods Preferred Guest program offers free enrollment.
