STS Hotel Net, LLC Appoints Ted Battreall as Vice President, Operations and Scott Schell as Vice President, Platform and Applications Engineering to Lead the Hospitality Portal's Deployment into Seven U.S. Cities

DENVER, Col. -- STS Hotel Netä, LLC, the nation's fastest growing hospitality Internet portal services provider, appointed Ted Battreall as vice president of operations and Scott Schell as vice president of platform and applications engineering.

Battreall, with more than a decade of telecommunications and consulting expertise, will lead all business systems development and hotel deployment of the HotelNet.com Portal and all corporate systems, including customer service for the nation's top hoteliers and brands as the company rapidly adds to more than 110,000 rooms currently under contract.

Battreall's previous experience as director of sales and order-entry systems for Level (3) Communications LVLT will help propel the HotelNet Portal into tens of thousands of guest rooms beginning this fall and manage relationships with STS local merchants in seven STS Hotel Netä metropolitan regions. Previously, Battreall held senior positions with consulting firms Andersen Consulting and Cap Gemini America. Battreall holds a bachelor of arts degree in computer science and psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Scott Schell is responsible for leading the HotelNet.com Portal platform and applications engineering effort. Schell previously lead the emerging technologies team with CallConnect Communications, and the research and development efforts specializing in database design and web-based application conversion with Lucent Technologies Bell Labs Innovations LU and Storage Technology Corporation STK. Schell's track record will help create the technology driving the Portal as it debuts this fall. Schell's web-based architecture expertise is expected to help make the Hotel Net Portal more versatile and the preferred Portal for business travelers, whether they are staying in a hotel, working from the office, on the road or at home. Schell holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Colorado State and a master of science in telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
