Opryland Hospitality Group Names Atkinson Director Of Marketing & Communications
NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- (Oct. 16, 2001) -- The Opryland Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Amy A. Atkinson to the position of director of marketing and communications for the Opryland Hospitality Group.
Prior to joining Opryland, Atkinson was vice president and senior account supervisor for Martin Public Relations/The Martin Agency of Richmond, Va. and Nashville, Tenn.
"Amy is a seasoned industry professional who will enhance our creative efforts, marketing Opryland Hotels in Nashville, Florida and Texas," said Karen Groom, vice president of marketing, Opryland Hospitality Group.
With more than twelve years experience in communications and marketing, Atkinson has promoted many different types of businesses and industries. Atkinson has spent the last six years with Martin marketing the United States Virgin Islands Department of Tourism.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Atkinson is accredited in public relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.
