Carlson Hospitality Worldwide names John Reynolds as Vice President of Human Resources

Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, a global leader in hospitality services, today named John Reynolds to Vice President of Human Resources. In this position, he will oversee the creation and administration of human resources policies, training, and development programs for Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, including all the company's hotel, resort and cruise ship operations.

The appointment was announced by Curtis Nelson, President and CEO of Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, who noted the success story of Reynolds' career growth through the Carlson enterprise starting with his first position in the benefits division of parent-company Carlson Companies, Inc.

He has made significant contributions to both Carlson Hospitality Worldwide and Carlson Marketing Group since joining the organization 15 years ago," Nelson said. "His career path is a great example of how Carlson employees can advance through different career opportunities within the company."

Most recently, Reynolds was vice president of project management for Carlson Marketing Group, where he was responsible for leading the account solutions function that serves as a vital connection between the sales force and the client delivery team. He originally joined Carlson Marketing Group in 1997, as director of human resources and training.

Prior to joining Carlson Marketing Group, Reynolds worked in human resources for Carlson Hospitality Worldwide. He also held several positions in human resources with Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. During this time he managed field training and developed Country Culture, a five-step program in which employees are encouraged to grow within the company to create motivated and energized employees, which ultimately results in satisfied customers.

Reynolds began his career in the benefits division of Carlson Companies, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
