Otedis Selects Lexington Services to Drive Business Worldwide
Optims' subsidiary dedicated to e-business solution for the Hospitality industry selects Lexington Services to strengthen its visibility among international travel agents through the GDS
IRVING, Texas & EVRY, France--Lexington Services announced today that it has signed an agreement with Otedis (Optims Technology for Distribution) a subsidiary of The Optims Group, the European leader in information technology solutions for the hospitality and tourism industries. Otedis is among the European leaders in hotel distribution in France, with over 4,000 members, including 1,300 hotels using its real time online reservation technology.
According to the three-year agreement, Otedis plans to provide its members with centrally hosted reservations technology, support, and exposure through the global distribution systems (GDS) and Internet distribution systems (IDS) via Lexington's extensive and expanding Online Distribution Network. In addition, all Lexington Services' member hotels will be added to the Otedis distribution network.

Initially created as an online catalogue for hotels in France, Italy and Spain, Otedis is today a virtual hotel chain made of 4,000 hotels (1,300 using the real time reservation technology). Chateaux & Hotels de France, Agil Hotels, Sofibra, Barcelo Hotels & Resorts and many independent properties are already using the Otedis technology.
