Concorde Hotels Group selects City.Optims Multi-Property ASP Revenue Management System

Optims S.A. (Evry, France), the European leader in information technology solutions dedicated to the optimisation of management methods and revenues in Hospitality, Catering and Tourism, has been selected by Concorde Hotels to implement Optims' multi-hotel Revenue Management Solution: City.Optims, which will be run via the internet in ASP mode. Signed in May 2003, 6 Concorde Hotel properties will be installed by the end of 2003, with implementation in other Concorde properties planned over the next 2 years.

"When we started looking for a centralised Revenue Management solution, 3 elements were key in our selection process," explains Olivier Derycke, Revenue Management Director for Concorde Hotels Group. Secondly, we wanted a single database centralised system, delivered using ASP technology and Optims was thy only company that could offer this. With the ASP City.Optims Solution from Optims, all our selection and decision criteria were fully achieved."

City.Optims will be centralised in the Concorde Hotels group head office and delivered from the Optims ASP (Application Service Provider) centre, so any Concorde Hotel connected to City.Optims will be included in the single database. Multiple statistical and analytical tools will also be available in the system. The optimisation routines will be run for single hotels and for groups of hotels forming a cluster. In this case, inter-hotel relationships are considered in order to obtain the best possible revenue. Each reservation will therefore generate the maximum profit according to the chosen hotel as City.Optims will allow the booking agents to control the reservations not only depending on hotel availability but also according to the best margin generation.

A recent study has shown that existing Optims Revenue Management clients have on average, increased their revenue by 7,8%. Concorde Hotels group is the 26th hospitality chain choosing Optims Revenue Management Solutions worldwide.
