HVS International Announces Satellite Mexico City Office

The office will be headed by Hans Desai, CHA, former Chief Operating Officer of HVS Hotel Management. Desai is a graduate of Michigan State University's School of Hospitality Business and serves on the Executive Board for the Hotel Alumni Association at MSU. Desai has held senior level management positions with several hotel companies including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Mexico City, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels as well as Sheraton. During his time with Sheraton he served on the Marketing Board of Directors for Starwood Hotels and held the position of Vice President of the Metro Denver Hotel Association. Desai's 25 year career includes assignments in the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Macau and Hong Kong. During his tenure with HVS Hotel Management (formerly Six Hats - Hospitality Company) he had oversight responsibilities for over 40 hotels comprising 10 nationally recognized hotel brands as well as several independent properties. His experience included the re-branding of several hotels and working closely with franchise representatives, lending institutions and developers.
