One of the techniques is web site optimization, which helps to get your site to stand out when potential customers begin their search for a hotel room.

This month we present a session from HITEC 2004 in Dallas, entitled Web Optimization. You’ll hear from industry leaders on that topic. We add two streaming audio interviews this month. Mike Wylie joins us from web optimization firm Proceed Interactive to talk about what hoteliers should be doing to give them a leg up on the competition. We close with Ocean Properties, Ltd.’s Loren Gray, who employs Proceed and has come away with some very impressive results.

In this streaming audio interview, he discusses the importance of web site optimization, search engine optimization and what some of the trends and difficulties hoteliers are facing.
