THE AMERICAS

Michael Glennie has been appointed Executive Vice President, Real Estate, for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Glennie was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer of Ripplewood Lodging and the Phoenix Resort in Japan. Prior to that, Glennie was employed by Boca Resorts as President of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, then Senior Vice President, Resort Operations.

Speaking of Boca Resorts, Jean-Jacques Pergant has been appointed President by its new owners, the Blackstone Group. Pergant will be responsible for all operations of the Boca Raton Resort & Club. He comes from the Savoy Hotel Group in London, where he spent ten years and was a Senior Vice President overseeing operations of the entire company. Blackstone recently sold the Savoy Hotel Group. Pergant previously served as Managing Director for Hanbury Manor, which he opened for then operators Rockresorts. His career also includes seventeen years with Four Seasons in Canada. At Boca, Pergant takes over from David Feder, who has left the company after seventeen years.

Also at Boca Resorts, Joseph Berger will be responsible for the oversight of the operation of the resorts and clubs in Naples and Fort Lauderdale, including the Hyatt Pier 66, the Bahia Mar Beach Resort and Grande Oaks Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale and the Registry Resort & Club, Edgewater Beach Hotel & Club and Naples Grande Golf Club in Naples. Berger comes from the Westin St. Francis where he served as General Manager for five years.

Peter Walterspiel has left the Venetian Resort and Casino to join Wynn Las Vegas as Assistant Vice President Hotel Operations. He replaces Sileshi Mengiste who left the company after only six months. The resort is scheduled to open April 2005.

Edward Brogan has been appointed General Manager of the Wyndham Baltimore - Inner Harbor. Brogan joined the company in 1994 in Naperville and was most recently the General Manager of the Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport.

Kevin Kobishop is the new General Manager of the Wyndham Philadelphia at Franklin Plaza. Kobishop has been with the company eighteen years, most recently as Vice President of Operations, Hotel Conversions & Standards.

After twenty years with Four Seasons, John Indrieri, General Manager of the Four Seasons Biltmore, is retiring at the end of January. Indrieri’s first job was opening the Park Lane in New York in 1971 for Harry Helmsley.

Crawford Sherman has joined Parrot Cay as General Manager. Sherman’s career included positions of General Manager at the Loews Portofino Bay Resort and Resident Manager at Mauna Lani.

Chris Hanen, a former General Manager of the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa is the new General Manager of the Lodge at Cordillera.

Elie Zod has left as General Manager of Miramonte in Indian Wells. His successor with Destination Resorts is John Fuller.

General Manager Mark Hellrung has transferred from the Four Seasons Houston to the company’s new properties on the island of Lanai, the former Manele Bay Hotel and Lodge at Koele. Ramesh Sadhani comes from the Four Seasons Great Exuma to replace Hellrung as General Manager in Houston.

Richard Kluck has joined the Carefree Resort as General Manager. Kluck had recently been the General Manager at Little Palm Island Resort and Spa, and served as Corporate Director of Purchasing for Olympus Hospitality. He previously spent thirteen years with Rosewood.

Jerry Phelps is the new General Manager at the Hilton Key West and Sunset Key Guest Cottages. He comes from the Roney Palace Beach Resort where he was the General Manager following a nineteen-year career with Marriott.

Michael Polese has been promoted to General Manager of the Westminster Hotel in Livingston, New Jersey. He originally joined the hotel shortly before its grand opening in November 2002 as Director of Rooms.

Thomas Waithe has joined the Willows Lodge in Seattle as General Manager. Waithe was previously the General Manager at the Metropolitan in Vancouver and Resort Semiahmoo in Washington.

Michael Hatzfeld, former General Manager of the Hotel Imperial in Vienna, is the new General Manager of the St. Regis Aspen.

Karl Buchta has left the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. Desmond Acheson has stepped in on a temporary basis as Interim General Manager from his post of Hotel Manager at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Buchta had been with Fairmont since 1986.

Tim Loughman has joined the Winston-Salem Hotels and Convention Center Complex as Managing Director. Loughman was until recently the Managing Director of the Westin Century Plaza and the St. Regis Los Angeles (which is slated to close in January and be converted into luxury apartments). Loughman’s successor is Harris Chan, a Starwood man who comes from the same position at Our Lucaya Beach Resort in the Bahamas. Prior to that, Chan was the General Manager of Starwood’s Orchid at Mauna Lani.

Mark Stebbing moves to The Point as Assistant General Manager. Stebbing had most recently been in a similar position at the Willcox in Georgia and Lake Placid Lodge as Food and Beverage Manager. All three properties are part of the Garrett Hotel Group.

Greg Bingaman (Cornell class of 1999) joins Legacy Hotels as Executive Director, Asset Management. In 2002 he had joined Fairmont as Director, Asset Management. He previously served as Vice President, Development at the Boutique Hotel Group in New York.

Ashish Verma is the new Executive Assistant to the President for Special Projects at Millennium Copthorne Hotels in New York. Verma was promoted to his position from that of Director of Food and Beverage at the UN Plaza Millennium Hotel.

Frank Grassman has joined the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers in Mexico City as Executive Assistant Manager. Grassman moves from the Dusit Thani in Bangkok where he was the Food and Beverage Director.

Claudia Passamonti has been named Director of Sales & Marketing at Miami’s Mayfair Hotel & Spa, now a Kimpton hotel. Passamonti most recently spent seven years with Wyndham International in Miami in multiple management positions.

Terra Calegari has left the Park Hyatt San Francisco and moved to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa & Casino in the same capacity of Director of Sales & Marketing. Betsy Olwine replaces her at the Park Hyatt San Francisco.

Katrina Carroll-Foster is the new Director of Sales and Marketing at the Opus in Vancouver. Carroll-Foster was at Whistler-Blackcomb for over six years.

Patricia Senft has joined KSL Resorts as Director of Sales-Northeast. Senft spent the last fourteen years with Four Seasons, most recently as Manager of Worldwide Sales, based in New York City.

Martha Sullivan has left the Four Seasons Los Angeles where she was the Director of Sales and Marketing. Sullivan had also been the Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Aviara.

Spencer Yeo is the new Director of Sales and Marketing at the Mandarin-Oriental Washington, replacing Patricia Lescoe who has left the company. Yeo transfers from the Mandarin-Oriental London, where he was the Director of Sales.

Amy McPherson has become Marriott International’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. McPherson joined Marriott in 1986, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Revenue Management and Reservation Sales.

Debra Shinn has joined the Peninsula Beverly Hills as Director of Sales West Coast. Shinn was most recently the Director of Sales and Catering at Ty Warner’s San Ysidro Ranch and previously was the General Manager at Fess Parker’s Wine Country Inn and Spa.

Giuseppe di Palma is joining the Concorde Hotel Group as Director of Sales, Eastern Region. Di Palma comes from the Carlyle where he was an Associate Director of Sales.

Steven Boggs has been appointed Director of Sales and Concierge Services with Time and Place Homes in Palm Springs. He was previously the Front Office Manager at the Beverly Hills Hotel for three years and worked in various positions at the Hotel Bel-Air for ten years.

Anne Mahon has joined the Mandarin-Oriental Hotel Group as Senior Sales Manager, Financial Account Specialist. Based in New York, Mahon joins from Hilton Sales Worldwide, where she held the positions of Director of Sales, Worldwide Accounts and National Sales Manager over the past four years. Mahon also worked as Sales Manager at the Waldorf=Astoria.

Jessica Glazer is taking on as Sales Manager, Eastern Region for Leading Hotels of the World. Glazer was handling the Western Region for Leading before taking on her new position.

Rodney Smith has left the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, where he was the Director of Food and Beverage for a short time, having accepted the position of Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Millennium Biltmore.

Marjan Sabetian has left the Regent Beverly Wilshire where she was the Director of Public Relations. She is currently working as a consultant with area Public Relations/Communications firms.

Robert Fox has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Carlson Hotels Worldwide. Fox replaces John Reynolds who recently was named Vice President of Human Resources for Carlson Marketing Group, sister company of Carlson Hotels Worldwide. Fox was most recently Vice President of Human Resources for dj Orthopedics in California.

Joanne Budge has joined the Four Seasons New York as Director of Human Resources. Budge was the Director of Human Resources at the Waldorf=Astoria for the past seven years. She is also a former Director of Employee and Labor Relations for Loews Hotels.

Yvonne Mancini, formerly the Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons New York, transferred a few blocks away to sister property the Pierre, in the same capacity. At the Pierre, she replaces Jacqueline Pucci who transferred to the Four Seasons Newport Beach as Director of Human Resources.

Deirdre Rosen has been appointed Director of Labor Relations at the Waldorf=Astoria. Rosen was the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Plaza since 2002. She previously spent five years at the New York Palace in similar capacities.

Stephanie Johnson was promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. Johnson was previously the hotel’s Assistant Director of Human Resources.

Sven Wiedenhaupt will be the new Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons New York. Wiedenhaupt joins from New York Intercontinental the Barclay where he had been the Director of Food and Beverage for the past two years.

Jean Weiss has accepted the position of Director of Food and Beverage at Carneros Inn. Weiss was until last spring the Director of Food and Beverage at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, which he helped open.

Uwe Roehricht has joined the Madison in Washington, DC, as Director of Food and Beverage. He comes from the Hotel Kura Hulanda in Curacao where he held a similar position.

Wayne Woods is transferring from the Kahala Mandarin-Oriental to the Mandarin-Oriental Washington, DC as Director of Food and Beverage. Woods takes the position left vacant when Don Lenahan left in the fall.

Meike Planitz has been hired as Executive Housekeeper at the Palms in Turks and Caicos. She was previously the Executive Housekeeper on the Disney Magic.

Rajiv Malhotra, a Cornell graduate, has transferred to the Four Seasons Las Vegas. Malhotra was previously the Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara.

Chad Wood has been promoted to the position of Director of Rooms at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. Wood was previously the Director of Guest Services at the Fairmont San Francisco.

Jonathan Scott has been promoted to Rooms Division Manager at Le Méridien King Edward in Toronto. He was previously the Front of House Manager at Le Méridien Piccadilly in London and Director of Front Office at Le Méridien Chicago.

Florencio De Dios has transferred from the Fairmont Vancouver Airport to the Fairmont Miramar as Director of Housekeeping.

Sébastien Bonvin is the Managing Director for Dupoux Design. Bonvin was previously the Restaurant Director at the Mandarin-Oriental New York. A Lausanne graduate, he also worked as Food and Beverage Manager of the Hyatt Brussels Barsey.

Jesse Frost is the new Executive Chef at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. A native of Mexico City, Frost previously served as Chef de Cuisine at the Prince of Wales in the Hotel Del Coronado and at Rancho Bernado Inn and the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club.

Andreas Nieto is the new Executive Chef at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Nieto comes from the Westin Century Plaza where he was the Executive Chef for the past five years. His successor there is Frenchman Yannick Le Boulch, a former Marriott man.

Andrew De Groot is the opening Executive Chef at Yu in Santa Monica. He joins from the defunct Avenue in Beverly Hills and was previously the Restaurant Chef at Casa del Mar, also in Santa Monica.

Alessandro Stratta has left the Mirage at the closure of Renoir, the restaurant he had spearheaded since 1998 making it a Five-Diamond winner. He has rejoined Mirage founder Steven Wynn as one of his stellar group of award-winning chefs at Wynn Las Vegas slated to open April 2005.

Eric Klein is making the move to Las Vegas to join the soon-to-open Wynn Las Vegas as Executive Chef for the Steakhouse. Klein was a Sous Chef at Spago for seven years prior to becoming top toque at Maple Drive where he earned the restaurant a Three-Star review from the Los Angeles Times.

Philippe Rispoli joins Brasserie Daniel Boulud, soon-to-open at Wynn Las Vegas, as Executive Chef. Rispoli was previously the Executive Chef at Aureole at Mandalay Bay. Rispoli also served as Executive Chef at the Mansion at MGM Grand Las Vegas. He worked for Boulud in New York for four years prior to moving to Las Vegas.

Marc Poidevin has joined Wynn Las Vegas as Executive Chef of Banquets. He joins after six years at Le Cirque at Bellagio. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, he had been a Co-Executive Chef at the original Le Cirque in New York. Poidevin also was the Executive Chef of the late Warner Le Roy’s Tavern on the Green.

Ari Nieminen has joined Water’s Edge in New York as Executive Chef. Nieminen was previously at Café des Artistes, Firebird, the River Café and the Four Seasons New York.

Roger Stettler joins the Four Seasons Wailea as Executive Chef, replacing Fabrice Rossman who has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage. Stettler was most recently the Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas.

Executive Chef Dominique Briaire has left the Sutton Place Hotel (formerly Le Méridien Newport Beach) and has joined the Shady Canyon Golf Club in the same capacity.

Emmanuel Motte is now the Executive Chef at the Hotel Carl Gustav in St. Barthélémy. Motte’s previous experience includes Chef de Cuisine at Francois Plantation and Executive Chef at the Sereno Beach Hotel, both also in St. Barthélémy. Just prior to joining the Carl Gustav, he was the Chef at Maya’s To Go.

Jose Alias is moving to the Dominican Republic as Executive Chef for the multi-complex Melia Caribe-Tropical. Alias was previously in Cuba for two years as Executive Chef at the Sandals Royal Hicacos.

Richard Hebben will be taking over as Executive Chef at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia. Hebben started at the Adolphus in Dallas under William Koval ten years ago, and has for the past four years been the Executive Sous Chef. Mathew Ward is promoted from Sous Chef to replace him at the Adolphus. Ward spent four years at the French Laundry.

Paul Arenstam is leaving his post as Executive Chef of the Kimpton Group's Grand Cafe and to be the opening Executive Chef at Americano in Chip Conley's Hotel Vitale with restaurateur Pascal Rigo as partner. Arenstam worked for five years at Rubicon, had his own restaurant, Belon, from 2000 to 2001, and had been at the Grand Café since 2002.

Clay Conley will be the new Chef for Azul at the Mandarin-Oriental Miami, taking over from departed Michelle Bernstein. Conley most recently served as the Corporate Executive Chef for Todd English’s Olives Group for the past five years.

Jean-Claude Plihon is the Executive Chef at the Fairmont Kansas City. Plihon is a recent transfer from the Fairmont Glitter Bay and Royal Pavilion in Barbados.

Michael Rusconi is the new Executive Sous Chef at the Phoenician, replacing David Snyder who has joined Wynn Las Vegas. Rusconi was most recently at the Royal Palms.

Hubert Billod-Morel has been promoted from Executive Sous Chef to Executive Chef at New York’s Plaza, which is due to close soon for extensive renovations. He will be taking over for Christian Schmidt who will be rejoining Mandarin-Oriental as Executive Chef in Washington DC. Prior to joining the Plaza in May of this year, Schmidt had been the opening Executive Chef of both the Mandarin-Oriental Miami and the Mandarin-Oriental New York.

Donato Poto has left Bastide in Los Angeles where he was Restaurant General Manager. He is to open a new restaurant with Michael Cimarusti, former Executive Chef of the Water Grill. Tentatively named Providence the new restaurant will open in the former location of Patina. Patina has relocated to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, downtown Los Angeles.

Olivier Flosse is leaving Daniel Boulud’s group after six years, the last four of which as Sommelier at New York’s Café Boulud. Flosse will be the Corporate Sommelier for London-based Marlon Abela Restaurant Corporation. He will be based at Gaia, in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Also leaving Daniel Boulud is Restaurant Daniel Head Sommelier Jean-Luc Le Dû, who will be opening a wine store in Manhattan. Le Dû has been at Daniel for almost ten years.

Julien Lemaire is Head Sommelier at the Hotel Carl Gustaf in St. Barthélémy. Lemaire previously worked as a Sommelier at a number of high profile venues, many of them Michelin-starred, including Sketch in London, Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire and the Hôtel de Paris in Monaco.


EUROPE

Andrew Cosslett has been appointed Chief Executive of InterContinental Hotels Group. Cosslett joins from Cadbury Schweppes, where he has been President, Europe, Middle East and Africa for the past two years.

Ian Carter has been appointed Chief Executive of Hilton International Hotels. Carter joins from the position of President of Black & Decker Corporation, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Euro Disney has hired Karl Holz, former head of Disney Cruise Line, as President and Chief Operating Officer. Holz replaces Yann Caillere who is leaving to run the Taittinger-owned Concorde Hotel Group in Paris.

Bernard Granier has joined Movenpick as Vice President, France and Africa. He had previously been Vice President, France, Belgium and Mediterranean Basin for Méridien.

Marie-Christine Delbos is the new General Manager at the Hotel Métropole in Beaulieu sur Mer, taking over from Jean Rauline. Delbos was formerly the General Manager of the Hotel Miramar in Corsica.

Dominick Adrian has joined the Hotel Plaza Paris Vendôme as General Manager. Adrian was formerly the General Manager at the Warwick Champs Elysées. The opening General Manager of the Plaza Paris Vendôme was Florence Carcassonne.

Christophe Langlois is the new Hotel Manager at Paris’ Hotel Meurice, following eight years at the Prince de Galles. At the Meurice, he takes over from Norbert Henrot who joined the Hotel Raphael in a similar capacity. Manager. Henrot had been at the Meurice since 1989, following eight years at the Hôtel de Crillon.

Marcus Wirshing is the new Hotel Manager at the Radisson SAS Hamburg. Wirshing was previously the Food and Beverage Manager at the Radisson SAS Glasgow.

André Devillers has joined the Four Seasons Provence as Director of Sales. Devillers was previously the Director of Sales at the Hotel Concorde Saint Lazare in Paris.

Sacha Muscat-Inglott has moved from Director of International Sales at the Westin Dragonara Resort in Malta to Director of Sales & Marketing at Le Méridien Villon Resort & Convention Center in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Vito Romeo has been appointed Director of Food & Beverage of the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan. He previously worked with Alain Ducasse for six years. He is assisted by Benedikt Jaschke who was the Assistant Food & Beverage Director at the Kempinski Hotel & Resort Ajman -United Arab Emirates for the past two years.

Mauro Seu has left the Domina Coral Bay where he was the Executive Chef and has taken the position of Food and Beverage Manager at the Domina Grand Media Sarajevo.

Christophe Serre has been appointed Executive Chef of the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. Serre was previously the Senior Chef de Cuisine at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne.

Jean-Luc Martin has joined the Hyatt Paris Vendôme as Director of Restaurants. For the past two years, Martin was the Food and Beverage Manager at the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort. He previously was a Manager at New York’s Café Boulud.

Fabrice Marchand is joining the Hôtel Meurice as Restaurant Manager in charge of Le Jardin. He comes from the Park Hyatt Vendôme and previously the Hôtel de Crillon where he held similar positions.

Cameron Smith has joined Gala Casinos in London as Hospitality Manager. Smith was most recently an Assistant Manager Food & Beverage for Holland America Lines.


ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Dinky Puri has left InterContinental after fourteen years as Director of Operations. Puri has joined Millennium & Copthorne Hotels as Special Projects/Special Duties Senior Vice President replacing Daniel Desbaillets who is now the Chief Executive Officer of Fullerton Hotels & Resorts.

Jan Smits has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, South Asia with InterContinental Hotels Group. Smits was previously the Regional Vice President of Operations for Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Wolfgang Krueger transfers from the Edsa Shangri-La in Manila to Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza in Taipei as General Manager. A former Mandarin-Oriental man, Krueger had originally joined Shangri-La as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Manila Makati.

Swiss national Matthias Wiemann has been named General Manager of the Legend Hotel Saigon. Wiemann has over twenty years of experience with such hotel companies as Westin, Peninsula and Sun International.

Christoph Voegeli is the General Manager of the Hotel Sanur Beach. He re-joins Aerowisata after a two-year absence and is moving back from Singapore where he worked at the Carlton as Executive Assistant Manager.

Biswajit Chakraborty has joined the Yak and Yeti in Nepal as General Manager. He comes from the Hilton Towers Mumbai where he was the Regional Director Sales and Marketing. He previously held a similar position for Oberoi in Mumbai and in New Delhi.

Scot Toon has been appointed General Manager of the Fortress in the Maldives scheduled to open late 2005. Toon has been with Per Aquum Resorts & Spas for the past two years. His most recent position was that of General Manager for Dhoni Mighili, also in the Maldives.

Mike Brown was recently appointed General Manager at the Carlton Auckland. He joins following three years with the Asia Pacific Carlton Hotel Group as General Manager of the Carlton Crest Hotel Sydney.

Mark Griffiths is the General Manager of the Sentosa Resort & Spa. Griffith, a former General Manager of Le Méridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort in Bali for the last five years, replaces Anthony Ross who has relocated to Queenstown, New Zealand, where he will be General Manager of Azur, a nine-villa project he is developing with Nejat Sarp, the former General Manager of the Oriental in Singapore.

Philippe Jaquet is the new General Manager of the Grand Hilton Seoul. He was formerly at the Mutiara Kuala Lumpur as General Manager and at the Mandarin-Oriental Kuala Lumpur as Resident Manager.

Sven Isberg has transferred from the Seoul Grand Hilton to the Parmelia Hilton in Australia as General Manager. Isberg was formerly at the Beijing Hilton and Hilton International Taiwan in similar positions.

Charles Morris has left Six Senses Resorts in the Maldives where he was the Area Director, to join the Peninsula in Manila as Executive Assistant Manager. Morris was previously the General Manager of the Soneva Fushi Resort.

Anthony Arrigo is the Food and Beverage Marketing Manager at the InterContinental Bangkok. He comes with extensive hotel marketing experience in Asia, notably in China for Hilton and Shangri-La.

Christian Kasseck is the new Executive Sous Chef at the Shangri-La Manila reporting to Christopher Romine. Kasseck was previously the Banquet Chef at the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Executive Chef at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.

Holger Deh is the new Executive Pastry Chef at the Datai Langkawi. Deh was previously at the Grand Hyatt Amman as Pastry Chef and Assistant Pastry Chef at the Grand Hyatt Berlin.


MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Amal Benzari is the General Manager at Al Sondos Suites by Le Méridien and its sister property Dar Al Sondos, in Dubai. Benzari’s twenty-five-year career includes senior positions in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Morocco, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Peter Mainguy has been appointed Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Dubai. Mainguy joins the hotel after working for Ritz-Carlton for almost three years as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for the Middle East properties. He also was the opening Director of Sales and Marketing for Sun International at the Royal Mirage in Dubai.

Fabien Martinez is the new Executive Chef at the Movenpick Doha. Before Doha, Martinez was at the Movenpick Heliopolis and the Movenpick Beirut. He is a former Shangri -La and Hyatt man.

Michel Brelière has joined Le Royal in Amman as Executive Chef. Brelière was previously the Executive Chef at the Taj Land’s End in Mumbai.

Kurt Berman has joined Frégate Island Private in the Seychelles as Executive Chef. Berman was previously at Point Grace in Turks and Caicos and at the Western Cape Hotel and Spa in South Africa.

Marie Kristiansson is the newly appointed Public Relations Manager for the Mövenpick Bur Dubai. Kristiansson was most recently the Guest Relations Manager at the Victoria Park Plaza in London.

Christine Meier moves to Dubai as Spa Manager for the Royal Mirage Spa Givenchy. Until recently she was the Fitness/Spa Manager at La Réserve in Geneva. Meier also was, for several years, the Spa Director at Orient-Express’ Charleston Place.

Born and raised in France, Benoit managed to scoop up a French law degree prior to studying Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Upon graduation in 1975, he engaged in an eleven-year hotel management career which took him to Chicago, New York, Washington DC, San Diego, Istanbul, Jamaica and Hawaii. He held positions with Omni, Hyatt, Hilton International, ITT Sheraton and Méridien, as well as Honululu's unique Halekulani, consistently rated as one of the world's best. Benoit was bit by the "headhunting" bug in 1986, and has not relented yet. He founded "The Boutique Search firm" in February 1992. His motto: small is beautiful. Benoit loves to mountain bike, cook and write short (and long) stories.
