HITEC 2005 | With reports rolling in of a recovering hospitality industry, the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®) is looking forward to a successful event in 2005. Registration for the largest hospitality technology exposition and conference opened January 15, and will take place June 20–23 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
Attendee registration is offered through the HITEC web site, which will be available through June 3. Registrations made through the web site will get an immediate acknowledgement via e-mail. In addition to registration, visitors to the web site can read HITEC exhibitor news, make hotel reservations and plan their time for all four days of HITEC.
Online room reservations for the official HITEC hotels can conveniently be made through the web site, including reservations for the Holiday Inn, Hyatt Regency at Macy Plaza, Los Angeles Marriott Downtown, Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, and Wilshire Grand Hotel and Centre. These hotels are located near the convention center, and a complimentary shuttle to the convention center will be provided for those attendees staying at one of the official HITEC hotels. As an added bonus, HITEC is offering a $100 cash rebate to those attendees who register and pay for the full conference and who stay in the official block by reserving through the HITEC housing bureau.
