Anthony Qin Appointed Pastry Chef of St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai
Shanghai | Anthony Qin has been recently named Pastry Chef of St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai. Mr. Qin, originally from Shanghai, has more than 10 years of pastry experience.
Mr Qiu has excellent and artistic pastry, bakery and sugar making skills. Since 2004, he has participated in many international Pastry and Bakery competitions and won a number of accolades. Recently, he represented the China team to participate in the Asian Pastry Cup 2006 and won Bronze Medal and Best Sugar Showpiece medal. In 2004, he represented the China team to participate in Louis Lesaffre Cup and the China team won against strong competition from South Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand to enter the World Bakery Cup final. He was also one of the members of the Chinese team to participate in 2005 World Pastry Cup which were held in Lyon, Paris.
Before joining St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai, he was Assistant Pastry Chef of Grand Lisboa Hotel Macau.
