Shanghai | St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai has recently launched a new community initiative “Learning English, Learning Etiquette”. The initiative gives the local junior high school students of Jian Ping Junior High School an opportunity to come together to learn English, etiquette and manner in a fun and interactive environment.

“We are pleased to launch a new community initiative every year and this campaign is part of the hotel’s continuous effort of caring for community. As Shanghai becomes more internationalized and the World Expo is coming, we recognize the importance of young generation’s manner and etiquette in daily life as well as the English language communication skills. In the next few months, each class will focus on a specific aspect of etiquette, table manner and western cultures. These interactive classes include role-playing exercises, slide presentation and games, which build their self-respect and confidence in communicating with English speaking people and respect for others.
