NOVEXSYS, meaning “new standard in hotel systems,” is the hospitality industry’s newest Web-based, OTA-compliant property-management software. Designed by Centrada Solutions LLC, NOVEXSYS entered the hospitality marketplace in September, and is one of the only PMS solutions that is Software as a Service (SaaS) based and operates with a hotel’s existing hardware. It is built on the Microsoft .NET Framework and there are no licensing fees. Because it is Web based, it can be installed in minutes on existing hardware.

Operating in a SaaS environment means hotels only pay fees based on services used. There no longer is a need to purchase expensive software licenses or maintain software updates. When NOVEXSYS is upgraded, all properties receive the upgrade at the same time via the Web and at no extra cost. The simple user interface requires minimal training, no new hardware and further lowers cost by eliminating the need for installers to travel to the hotel property.
