Great Hotels Organisation partners with VFM Interactive to provide Rich Media production and distribution services for their Member Hotels worldwide

Toronto, Canada and London, England | VFM Interactive, the leading producer and distributor of hotel rich visual content, has been selected by Great Hotels Organisation (GHO) to produce and distribute photos, virtual tours, videos, and other forms of rich media for their global member hotels across tens of thousands of online channels.

As part of the new partnership, GHO and VFM will provide all GHO member hotels with VFM’s Vscape® digital still image management and distribution solution. The Vscape platform will enable GHO hotels to distribute and manage their photos and other rich media on all GDSs, (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan), Pegasus and thousands of websites from a single point of entry, thereby ensuring the best possible and consistent visual representation of their properties on all electronic channels.

VFM and GHO are also launching a unique new initiative designed to assist GHO member hotels to formulate and implement an online rich media marketing strategy to enhance their internet presence and drive higher online bookings and revenues. As part of the GHO Rich Media Initiative, VFM will work closely with each GHO member hotel to assess their current media, analyze their competitive environment, and understand their online marketing goals and initiatives. Based on this assessment, VFM will then assist each hotel in selecting the media productions that best showcase their property and best convey their unique experience and value proposition to online travel consumers.

“GHO has selected VFM for their unparalleled distribution network and their experience in working with hotels to increase online bookings and revenues” says Yunna Takeuchi, Director of e-Distribution, GHO. “We are particularly pleased to present our membership with the GHO Rich Media Initiative, in which VFM will work with our members to understand their strengths, competitive positioning, and unique branding and then create rich media solutions which best convey each hotel’s unique personality online. And through broad online distribution of their media, our members will greatly improve their online profile while delivering higher bookings and revenues.”

“We are delighted to have been selected by GHO to assist their members with their rich media production and distribution needs,” said Paolo Boni, President and CEO of VFM Interactive. “GHO represents some of the world’s finest luxury hotels and resorts. We look forward to helping them convey their beauty and the unique luxury experience they offer through powerful rich visual media that will inspire consumers across the Internet,” added Boni.
