ATLANTA | Onity has announced the appointment of Bill Oliver to the position of vice president, global sales and marketing. Based at Onity’s world headquarters in Duluth, Georgia, Bill will be responsible for driving global sales and marketing strategies across all segments, including hospitality, education, military/government, corporate and marine industries. In addition, he will oversee the planning and execution of worldwide sales productivity and marketing plans, as well as new product development and product management. Onity, one of the world’s leading providers of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

Since joining Onity’s management team in 2003, Bill has led the company’s North American sales organization, and has been responsible for driving annual double-digit organic growth in both sales and profitability. For the past year, he also served as vice president of sales and operations for Onity’s North America and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Bill brings to his new position a wealth of corporate sales and operations experience, gained through senior leadership positions in diverse markets across the U.S. During his successful 24-year career, he has also managed a wide range of hotel properties, from premium-branded, full-service resorts to independent boutique hotels. In addition, Bill has held Board of Director level positions with various Hotel/Motel Associations and regional Convention and Visitors Bureaus.
