GenaRes Worldwide Reservation Services Appoints VFM Interactive As Their Exclusive Provider of Rich Media Production and Distribution Services

TORONTO, ON | GenaRes Worldwide Reservation Services, the hotel industry’s newest and fastest growing global reservations company, announced today that it has selected VFM Interactive, the world’s leading full service provider of rich media production and distribution solutions for the travel industry, as its exclusive partner for the distribution and production of hotel rich visual content.
Under the agreement, GenaRes will utilize VFM’s web-based digital media management platform, Vscape®, as the single point for the entry, storage, management, and seamless distribution of all of its hotels’ images and other rich visual content. VFM Interactive will manage the rich media for the 3,000+ GenaRes hotels worldwide and distribute it to its vast distribution network, recognized as the largest and fastest growing network in the industry. Additionally, GenaRes and VFM will team-up to provide a customized production offering for GenaRes hotels so they can reap the rewards of enhanced online presence that rich media provides.
VFM has distribution contracts in place to provide rich visual content on behalf of its hotel clients to major travel intermediaries such as Pegasus and the four global distribution systems (GDSs) – Amadeus, Galileo, Worlspan and Sabre – as well as more than 25,000 travel and travel-related sites. VFM’s distribution network enables hotels to compete more effectively across the Web by ensuring that their photos, virtual tours, videos and other rich marketing content can be viewed by, and influence the purchasing decisions of, consumers shopping for hotels on major online travel agencies, travel research sites, search and meta-search engines, portals, meeting planner sites, as well as corporate booking engines.
