Dorsett Hospitality International is pleased to announce that its hotels in Hong Kong, Malaysia and China have received the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The hotels in Hong Kong that were honoured are Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong, Cosmo Hotel Mongkok. Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong, Lan Kwai Fong Hotel @ Kau U Fong and The Mercer.

In Malaysia, Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur received similar endorsement and in China, Dorsett Shanghai. Dorsett Regency Hong Kong has been accorded the Travelers’ Choice 2013 certificate.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Most recently, Silka West Kowloon was accorded “The Most Outstanding Business Hotel 2013” by GHM (Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao) Hotel General Managers Society while Dorsett Wuhan was accorded the China Top Ten Best Preferred Commercial Hotels of Year 2013. On this accomplishment, Ms Chiu commented, “This again is yet another testament of the confidence of our guests for our products. The awards also speak volume of the dynamic and excellent leadership skills of Richard Kwong, the General Manager of Silka West Kowloon and Silka Seaview; and Leslie Wan, General Manager of Dorsett Wuhan.
