Today, JW Marriott Mumbai is considered a landmark in the charming seaside town of Juhu in North Mumbai, and is a favorite dining and late-night destination for the region's Bollywood stars. In 2011, following the overwhelming success of Mumbai came JW Marriott Chandigarh followed promptly by JW Marriott Pune in March 2013. The JW Marriott Pune (formerly the Pune Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre) is the only hotel in Pune and the first Marriott in India to receive the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

With 62 properties in 24 countries and an additional 30 expected to open by 2016, the

JW Marriott luxury brand is growing rapidly, bringing a fresh perspective to the luxury travel industry worldwide. The grand openings of JW Marriott Bengaluru and JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity come on the heels of JW Marriott Essex House, which opened in April 2013 as the brand's first property in New York City. India and the broader Asia- Pacific region will remain a focus for the JW Marriott brand for years to come. The brand is expected to double its presence in Asia within the next few years with 17 properties currently and another 17 in the pipeline.
