The St. Regis Mauritius Resort, which officially opened its doors earlier this year, today celebrates the unveiling of The St. Regis Villa. Spanning 1,659 square metres, The St. Regis Villa is the largest and most exclusive full-service private residence in Mauritius, offering families and groups of friends the ultimate luxury experience, combined with bespoke service and refined elegance both befitting of the destination and true to the St. Regis legacy. Located on the south-western tip of the island, the resort marks the St. Regis brand’s debut in Africa.

Located directly on the world-famous ‘One Eye’ kite-surfing spot and set on pristine white natural beaches at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Le Morne, The St. Regis Villa features its own private entrance and four bedrooms. Additionally, the villa offers four heated swimming pools including an infinity pool, a luxurious dining area, a bar, two lounges, an office, a gym with steam room, and private direct access to a beach. The design celebrates Mauritius’ rich and diverse cultural heritage, providing an idyllic island sanctuary reminiscent of the destination’s unique colonial past.

“We believe that luxury is in the details and strive to make each and every moment memorable for our guests visiting The St. Regis Mauritius Resort. A team of private butlers and chefs will welcome guests at The St. Regis Villa, taking an uncompromising approach to meet and exceed their expectations by creating ‘un grand moment’ at the best address on the island,” said Bernard de Villèle, General Manager, The St. Regis Mauritius Resort.

The dedicated team of St. Regis butlers, valets and a private chef provide guests with a highly bespoke resort experience. A renowned hallmark of the St. Regis brand, the signature St. Regis Butler Service, provides anticipatory service and customises each stay according to specific tastes and preferences. From preparing cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the villa’s private bar, to finding treats, books and games for the little ones, and understanding the preferred set-up for electronic gadgets in the study. The private chef will prepare and serve the guests’ favourite dishes in their preferred location, be it in the dining area, on the beach or in the lush, secluded garden.

Guests at The St. Regis Villa can relax in complete privacy, or enjoy the resort’s luxurious facilities and services such as the Iridium Spa, La Palme D’Or – a private cinema for up to 32 people, and participation in various water sports, including the world’s first Club Mistral Prestige Kite Surf Club. The resort also offers exquisite culinary experiences through six fine-dining restaurants, including Simply India, which is run by two-Michelin-starred chef, Atul Kochhar, and Inspiration – the island’s smallest and most exclusive restaurant, which has no menu and accepts only one reservation per evening.

The villa provides a superb getaway for families with children who will delight in special welcome amenities and turndown rituals, including delectable treats, child-sized robes, slippers, and a step stool for the little ones. Throughout the family’s stay, the resort team is able to recommend and arrange a selection of recreational activities and enriching excursions, dining options, childcare services, and other conveniences for families and children of all ages. The family offerings are part of Family Traditions, a St. Regis brand program which offers captivating activities and rituals celebrating the art of play, specifically tailored for younger guests and their families.

The St. Regis Villa is priced at EUR 22,190 per night, based on a five-night stay. Guests will enjoy access to the Yu Lounge at Mauritius airport on arrival and departure, luxury airport transfers to and from the resort, a day on the hotel’s private speedboat, and a full-day chauffeured luxury car service to explore the island.
