However, the survey found that food is becoming more of a factor when it comes to hotel property

amenities. When asked which hotel amenities are most important outside of the room, complimentary breakfast topped the list, followed by presence of a restaurant. Wi-Fi availability in shared spaces of the hotel was also one of the top amenities.

"Popular hotel amenities like parking, non-smoking rooms and pools have become more standardized,

and we're seeing that travelers are placing more value on quality food options than ever before which is good news for foodies!" said Taylor L. Cole, APR travel expert for Hotels.com.
