San Francisco, CA, – Sept 09, 2014 CheckMate has announced the first in-app integration of its mobile hotel check in platform with an itinerary management tool, launching with Sabre's award-winning mobile travel app, TripCase.

"At TripCase, we are always looking for new and different ways to provide the best possible travel experience to our users whether through in-house innovations or smart relationships like the one we have with CheckMate," says Constantine Hallax, vice president of business development for TripCase. "Adding the convenience of mobile hotel check-in simplifies the process so travelers can spend more time focused on the reason for their trip and less time thinking about travel logistics."

With CheckMate's guest-centric platform, TripCase users can now bypass lines at the front desk and check in through a few clicks on their mobile device at select hotels. Before they arrive, guests can easily upgrade their rooms, accept special offers, enter contact and payment information, update preferences, and more. When their room is ready, they are notified of where they can then pick up their pre-programmed keys.

"We are extremely happy to be working with TripCase, and we realize the benefits of integrating our mobile check in platform with their real-time travel information are enormous," explains Drew Patterson, CEO and co-founder of CheckMate. "The mobile device is the most personal technology we own. Mobile engagement is no longer an option; it's a must-have. This is the future of how we can better serve travelers."

From a technology standpoint, CheckMate offers a straightforward integration process which gives partners like TripCase an easy opportunity to build on top of existing app properties.

TripCase helps travelers manage more than 2 million trips per month. Travelers who download the free app receive access to vital trip features in the palm of their hands, including:

  • Automatic upload of trip details and updates for any booking made through Sabre
  • Option to forward confirmation emails to easily import additional trip details into TripCase
  • Free flight alerts notify travelers of delays, gate changes, and more
  • Hotel click-to-call, reservation number, maps, and directions
  • Hotel mobile check-in via CheckMate
  • Ability to easily share itinerary with followers, friends, and family

Additionally, TripCase offers hoteliers an opportunity to educate guests about services through their mobile device. Guests stay informed every step of the way, and hoteliers anticipate guests' needs before they arrive to streamline operations and improve the guests' stay – all while increasing their bottom line.
