CMITE Heads to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in 2015
NEW YORK – Questex Hospitality + Travel today announced its sixth-annual Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (CMITE) event will be held Aug. 10-13, 2015, at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the event's first time in that country.
The Hard Rock, situated on 121 acres along Caribbean beachfront, features 15 pools, nine restaurants, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, spa and ultra-modern casino.
The announcement followed the close of the successful 2014 program, held Sept. 15-18 at The Cove Atlantis in the Bahamas. The venue provided a scenic backdrop for dynamic business meetings and networking opportunities including a tennis and golf-themed reception and live Bahamian-style Junkanoo band and dance performances at the closing reception. The event hosted 130 leading buyers and suppliers serving the Caribbean meeting and incentive market.
Danielle Cirami-Gillis, Questex global director of events and media, attributed the event's success to "dynamic networking and the value of one-to-one meetings in private suites."

Next year's CMITE event will be hosted by Hard Rock, Dominican Republic Tourism Board and Amstar DMC.
