Followings its successful European debut with Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza earlier this year, Hard Rock International – owner of one of the world's most iconic and recognized brands – announces plans for the beachfront Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife, set to open in mid-2016. The upcoming property is Hard Rock's second project in collaboration with leading operators, Palladium Hotel Group, who recently opened the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, the brand's first European hotel.

Situated on Tenerife's sunny southern coast near Adeje, the resort will feature 637 rooms, including 236 suites, spread across two towers – offering both a family-friendly and adults-only experience. Catering to the distinctive needs of the leisure traveler, the property will boast a variety of amenities, including three pools and access to a natural saltwater lagoon and recreation area located just steps from the property. Additionally, it will feature four dining establishments, multiple outdoor terraces and entertainment venues.

"Tenerife's superb climate, wide variety of cultural activities and strong accessibility for international travelers, makes it an ideal choice for the hotel brand's global fan base," said Josh Littman, vice president of EMEA development – Hotels & Casinos at Hard Rock International. "As we continue to strengthen our relationship with Palladium Hotel Group, we look forward to introducing the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife to the Canary Islands."

"We're thrilled to introduce the Hard Rock brand to Tenerife and bring a unique experience fusing luxury accommodations and lavish amenities with electrifying entertainment," says Abel Matutes Prats, chief executive officer at Palladium Hotel Group. "We're certain the distinct beauty and dynamic appeal of the area will exceed expectations and continue to intrigue fans and travelers worldwide."

Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife will entice travelers with world-class entertainment and music-infused programs exclusive to the Hard Rock brand, such as The Sound of Your Stay® amenity program, free for guests of the hotel allowing for in-room guitar jam sessions, playlist download upon check-in and in-room delivery of professional DJ equipment. Additionally, the property will feature brand-wide amenities, such as a Rock Spa®, Body Rock® workout facility and a Rock Shop®, located in the lobby and featuring Hard Rock's iconic merchandise.

Internationally recognized as a world-class entertainment and lifestyle brand, Hard Rock Hotels offer stylish and contemporary design, unparalleled service and the thread that unites them all – music. Hard Rock's current Hotel portfolio is located in the world's most desirable resort destinations, as well as urban gateway cities. The dynamic properties cater to the evolving and distinctive needs of today's cosmopolitan, modern travelers, who seek a reprieve from traditional, predictable accommodations, whether for business or leisure travel, and who connect with the authentic and powerful Hard Rock vibe.
