At last year's HTNG North American Conference, INTEREL's Augmented Reality Room Control App was named first runner-up at the HTNG Innovation Awards. The App depicts and virtualizes the guest's actual room using augmented reality. The room visualization dynamically changes through an interactive and intuitive mobile interface, in which the guest controls the room environment and the room environment responds. The second innovation of the INTEREL AR App enables the guests to control virtualized panels on the mobile user interface, just the same way the guests would use the panels physically installed on the walls of the room. Both highly innovative solutions are built in HTML5 and add significant value and impact to the hotelier's mobile strategy.
