CHATTANOOGA, TENN. – Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. recently broke ground on the six-story Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Atlanta/Decatur Downtown, which is one of eight Vision hotels either in development or operation in Atlanta.

The 145-room hotel will have a modern and thoughtful design that meets the needs of today's modern traveler and the hotel's Perfect Mix Lobby will feature a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers. Additional amenities will include an indoor saltwater swimming pool, meeting space, a 24-hour business center and a fitness center.

Projected to open in the spring of 2017, the hotel will be located in one of the most vibrant and eclectic communities in Atlanta. Centrally located in Decatur, guests will have access to a spectrum of authentic restaurants, boutique shops and a multi-modal transit hub, all within walking distance of the hotel.

"We are excited to be expanding in Atlanta's growing market," Vision President & CEO Mitch Patel said. "Our company values our ongoing partnership with Hilton and the opportunity to develop one of the best hotel brands available today. The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Atlanta/Decatur Downtown certainly reinforces our growth strategy to invest in premium brands in growing markets."

Vision currently has 18 hotels under development, which includes three others in the Atlanta metro area: the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta NW/Duluth Sugarloaf, SpringHill Suites Atlanta/Downtown and the Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta NW/Kennesaw Town Center.
