 STR Global Hotel Review September 2011The Americas region recorded positive results in the three key performance metrics when reported in U.S. dollars for September 2011, according to data compiled by STR and STR Global. The Americas region ended September with a 5.4-percent increase in occupancy to 63.4 percent, a 3.8-percent gain in average daily rate to US$105.08, and a 9.4-percent jump in revenue per available room to US$66.61.

The Americas region ended June with a 4.0-percent increase in occupancy to 67.4 percent, average daily rate was up 3.8 percent to US$104.44, and revenue per available room rose 8.0 percent for the month to US$70.42.
