International Air Transport Association (IATA)
Other
IATA is the collective voice of world civil aviation. Its 270+ Members carry more than 95 percent of world international scheduled traffic. IATA tailors products and services to the needs of both its Members and the travel trade. It handles revenues in excess of USD 130 billion a year - mainly through efficient systems for collection and transfer of airline revenue. Programmes such as "Registered Partners" aim at greater use of standard, automated information throughout the entire travel industry. IATA represents the industry to governments and international organisations and provides the forum within which the standards which underpin aviation are developed.
