Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ:WYNN) was formed through Steve Wynn's purchase of the Desert Inn Resorts & Casino in 2000. The company went public in 2002 in the largest initial capitalization of a gaming entertainment company. Wynn Resorts' efforts have been devoted mainly to the design, development, financing and construction of Wynn Las Vegas and Wynn Macau but also to identifying growth opportunities such as the marketing alliance with Societe des Bains de Mer (which has a monopoly for gaming and hospitality in Monte Carlo, in the principality of Monaco) which we entered into in June 2002.
