During his professional career, Michael Bernath has served in a number of roles within the hospitality industry. With a concentration on finance, market analysis and investment, Michael has assisted in the closing of over $80M in select-service hotel transactions. Prior to joining Hotel AG, Michael served as the Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance for Peachtree Hotel Group, LLC. While at Peachtree, Michael focused on investor relations, sourcing new acquisitions, securing financing for new acquisition and new construction projects, and market analysis.
Michael began his career in the hospitality industry with Moody National Companies in Dallas, TX, serving as Assistant Vice President of Originations. At Moody National, Michael focused on securing debt financing for third-party hoteliers. Michael is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a B.B.A. in Economics.
