Mrs Wungsoontorn, born in Chiang Mai, graduated in Economics from Chiang Mai University. She brings to this role 25 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. She started her career in sales and has continuously progressed to greater responsibilities in a number of hotels in Thailand including Montien Hotel Bangkok and Pattaya, The Mansion Kempinski and The Emerald Hotel. In 2000, Mrs Wungsoontorn joined Amari Atrium Bangkok as Director of Sales and Marketing.
She was later promoted to the role of Resident Manager at the same property where she was in charge of all operational aspects including Amari Atrium’s major renovation project in 2004. Mrs Wungsoontorn returns to her native home to oversee the smooth running of the Amari Rincome Chiang Mai, the 4-star hotel in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.
