Dolce today announced that Mike McNeill, vice president of operations for its North American hotels and resorts, has assumed additional responsibility as general manager of the Dolce Norwalk hotel in Connecticut. McNeill was promoted to his current position in May 2009 after serving the company as regional vice president, overseeing the operation of Dolce’s managed Doubletree Hotel Boston/Bedford Glen in Massachusetts, the Dolce Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.; and the Dolce Atlanta-Peachtree in Peachtree City, Ga.
He received Dolce’s General Manager of the Year Award in 2008 for his work in Bedford. From 1993 to 2006, McNeill served in various operations and management roles at the Heritage Hotel, Southbury, Conn.; PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; Lansdowne Resort, Leesburg, Va.; and the Resort at Squaw Creek, Olympic Valley, Calif. He is a 1992 graduate of California State University-Chico, where he received a bachelor’s degree. He lives in Littleton, Mass.
