Alex Alt named Chief Operating Officer at Sabre Hospitality Solutions

Alt comes to Sabre from Rosewood Hotels & Resorts where he was Senior Vice President, Global Development and Strategy. He’s not new to Sabre as he previously worked as a manager and senior analyst in the financial planning and analysis group from 1996 to 2000. Alt was also a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Alex earned a masters degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Alt will join Sabre on April 23, 2012. Sabre Hospitality Solutions provides technology to the global hospitality industry. It operates one of the industry’s largest Software-as-a-Service businesses, with its reservations and property management system, marketing and distribution software, and Internet marketing and e-business solutions used by more than 17,000 hotel properties around the world. Each year, it generates more than $12 billion in revenue for its customers.
