Carol Menzel has been appointed Director of Global Tour Operator Sales at Playa Hotels & Resorts
Kevin Froemming, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Playa Resorts Management ("Playa") today announced the appointment of Carol Menzel as Director of Global Tour Operator Sales for Playa Resorts Management. Ms. Menzel joins Playa from her position as Regional Manager of Travelocity.com. Ms. Menzel is the newest addition to Playa's expanding sales and marketing team headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. She joins Yami Abreu, Global Director of Marketing, Ashley Farrell, Associate Director of Marketing, Doug Knapp, Global Director of Revenue Management, and Howard Tanenbaum, Global Director of Group & Retail Sales. Ms. Menzel will work with the team as she oversees Playa's important expanding tour operation sales division. Currently Playa manages Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, Hyatt Zilara Cancún, THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen, Gran Caribe Real Cancún and Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen. Opening in late fall 2014 are Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Jamaica, as well as Hyatt Ziva Cancún, and Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta.
