Hein Broekhoven L’Amandier hotel has appointed Hein Broekhoven to the role of general manager, entrusted to oversee the hotel’s opening in the first quarter of 2016 and beyond. He will also manage the resort’s private rental villas which open to guests for stays from January 1st 2016. Bringing with him over 30 years of international hospitality experience, Hein possesses a wealth of industry knowledge having worked at a range of luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants across the globe. A specialist in the operational launches of hotels, Hein arrives at an opportune moment to establish L’Amandier Hotel at the forefront of the luxury boutique hotel industry. Hein joins L’Amandier from the Swiss Montagne Alternative Hotel, a luxury retreat in Orsieres where he served as director of operations. Throughout his career, his passion for the industry has led him across the globe with prior management positions at Harbour Village Resort in Bonaire and Chagall Hotels & Restaurants in the Netherlands. This has provided him with a special insight into luxury hospitality and an understanding of the diverse needs of the international traveller. Hein’s hands-on approach, professional management style, and operational experience guarantees the highest standards of service, ensuring L’Amandier will stand alongside the best destinations in the world. No stranger to the Moroccan hotel scene, Hein previously managed the pre-opening of The Capaldi Hotel, just outside Marrakech and not far from L’Amandier estate which he is now managing.
