Lake Austin Spa Resort has announced the appointment of Janis Clapoff as Managing Director to the 40-room award-winning destination spa in Austin, Texas. Clapoff joined the 220-person team on October 24, 2016, and brings over 30 years of experience with a strong emphasis in the luxury hospitality industry. As Managing Director, Clapoff oversees all aspects of the daily operation of the 40-room resort as well as the 25,000-square foot LakeHouse Spa. Clapoff holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Antioch University in Santa Barbara and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto.
