Azrule Aziz Hotel Cosmo Kuala Lumpur welcomes its new General Manager Azrule Aziz who has more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, spent in Malaysia and in Indonesia. Prior to his appointment with Hotel Cosmo Kuala Lumpur, Azrule was the Executive Assistant Manager for Dorsett Putrajaya, he first joined the hotel as Director of Operations. His immense wealth of knowledge and dedication to the hotel’s pre-opening activities and strategic business planning led his promotion in less than a year. Azrule Aziz was previously the Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Surabaya in Indonesia, Mandarin Oriental Majapahit in Surabaya, Indonesia and The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. Azrule first started off his career in the hospitality industry by obtaining first-hand knowledge in the culinary field. He was the Executive Sous Chef specializing in seafood at the Newport Marriot in Rhode Island-USA and has various prestigious awards to his name; from the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards to Malaysia Book of Records 2011, severals MIGF winning awards and recognition accorded by Chaine Des Rottiseur to name a few.
