Convene, the magazine of the Professional Convention Management Association, is the leading resource to which meeting professionals turn for in-depth information on all aspects of meeting management. Convene's primary goal, like PCMA's, is to enhance the effectiveness of meetings, conventions, and exhibitions through industry education.
Convene is published 10 times a year, with a special edition in August. The magazine features in-depth articles on all aspects of meeting management, from housing and room block management to convention centers, technology, legal issues, contract negotiation, crisis and emergency management, education and learning, marketing, food and beverage, career and professional development, and industry research and statistics. The publication's articles are written by experts from all areas of meeting, convention, and expositions management.
Acknowledged as the leading industry magazine for education, Convene was noted as the journal with "the most valuable information" by an independent media study in 1996.
