The 81 rooms and suites range from the 26-square-meter Apollon Room to the 40-square-meter Nissos Junior Suite and Mediterranean Junior Suite. All guestrooms feature a king-size bed or twin beds and impressive sea views, apart from the Apollon Room, which faces inland. While the 26-square-meter Aegean Junior Suite, the Nissos Junior Suite, and the 35-square-meter Sunset Junior Suite all boast an outdoor Jacuzzi, the 26-square-meter Horizon Suite and the Mediterranean Junior Suite play host to a private pool and private infinity pool, respectively.

If hotelier Marios Daktylides ever craves inspiration, he need only look to his father George. The head of a large family featuring four sons, the elder Daktylides is also father to a hotel empire on Mykonos, having created some half-dozen luxury properties that have helped to redefine hospitality on the island. "Our father, along with the great support of our mother, Eleftheria, built their success on the back of hard work and meraki, which in Greek means passion, and in 1978 he became one of the first luxury hoteliers here," says Marios. "I grew up in Mykonos and, like my brothers, I attended the world-renowned École Hotelière in Lausanne. There was never a question in my mind that this is what I wanted to do." That last statement is one that visitors to Myconian Kyma can attest to. "I am always there for our guests," explains Marios. "I am aware of every single issue, I always shake their hands and I am at their disposal."
