Tel Aviv-based hotel company Brown Hotels has announced that its affordable, urban hotel concept will launch next month with the soft opening of the Dave in the Israeli capital. Designed by Israeli designer Agnon Granot, the property will diversify the company"s portfolio with more accessible lodging options.

The 35-room hotel is set to debut on the bustling corner of Gordon and Ben Yehuda Streets, walkable from dining and retail as well as the Mediterranean coast. Spanning five stories, the jewelry box-style hotel will embrace a 1970s-style aesthetic, with each room featuring eclectic flea market finds. Vintage prints and funky antiques will populate each space. Color will also be emphasized in the design; every door is a different bold hue, while the lobby will be anchored in a striking crimson. The deluxe suite on the fifth floor will be outfitted with a king bed accented in a plush velvet frame with speakers in the headboard.

A Jacuzzi and spa treatment room will open on the Dave"s rooftop, which will also provide access to the lobby level via a slide. The ground floor of the property will be home to the Yard, an urban courtyard with antique lounge furniture, while a tattoo parlor will be opened in the lobby.
