The Pilgrm, a new venture from long-time collaborators Jason Catifeoglou, Andreas Thrasyvoulou and Steph Thrasyvoulou, is slated to open in Paddington"s Norfolk Square in November.

The property is a considered reinterpretation of a traditional hotel, with a newly thought out iteration of hospitality that redefines the long-established parameters by transforming selected elements and services.

Housed in restored Victorian buildings, the hotel comprises 73 guestrooms, a ground floor neighbourhood café, and first floor lounge. Guestrooms feature Samsung television sets, high-speed Wi-Fi, Marshall speakers, 100% organic cotton mattress, Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, and bespoke natural toiletries. A selection of books, magazines, plants and unique artwork by Keith Cunningham, Jo Bondy and Lydia Makin highlights The Pilgrm"s point of difference, while 24hr communal pantries feature in lieu of minibars or room service.

The original Victorian architectural designs, including a timber staircase and cast iron balustrades, have been restored and feature alongside a mix of reclaimed and restored furniture and fittings throughout the property. Guestrooms comprise Tom Dixon cloud carpets; Wails in place of traditional wardrobes, an original design by The Pilgrm"s interior design team; and 200-year-old reclaimed parquet flooring.
