The wait is finally over, Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel celebrated the soft opening of the hotel with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, 12 July 2018. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by official representatives of City Waterfront Sdn Bhd, accompanied by Adrian Chung, General Manager of the hotel, in front of the hotel's main entrance with a lion dance performance. Watching and celebrating the festivities were the executive committee and associates of Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel, guests and members of the media.
