Charlestowne Hotels has been selected by Elon University to manage its new campus hotel, opening fall 2019. The Inn at Elon will feature 80 well-appointed guestrooms, ten of which will be suites. The three-story property will also feature a fitness center, as well as two dining venue options, including an upscale bar and restaurant. Event space will be available for conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, private dining, and university functions. Coupled with significant university and community outreach, Charlestowne will apply its marketing and profit expertise to ensure the property enjoys its full revenue potential.

A development that was strongly supported by the local community, The Inn at Elon meets the university's long-standing need for on-campus lodging and conference space. Further encouraging student development, 100 percent of net income will be dedicated to student scholarships. Situated next to Elon's Love School of Business, the hotel will offer current and prospective students, returning alumni, and members of the community a central location with unparalleled access to the esteemed Elon campus. "The relationship between the university and community were focal points of the hotel's brand development," says Charlestowne's vice president of marketing, Michael Cady. "A destination unto itself, the hotel must be reflective of Elon's prestige among students, alumni and staff, as well as a gathering place for members of the community."

During hotel's construction phase this summer, Charlestowne will provide programming and design counsel to ensure both operational functionality and optimal guest experience upon opening. "Charlestowne Hotels is known for its tailored management approach, which constantly evolves to meet the specific needs and goals of our diverse properties," says Charlestowne president and chief operating officer Michael Tall. "We prefer to be involved in new projects as early as possible to provide strategic recommendations. Whether it's suggesting a more durable flooring for a high traffic area or forecasting nightly dinner covers, our participation ensures the hotel is set up for success as soon as the doors open."
