Melia Hotels International, one of the largest hotel companies in the world with over 380 hotels in 40 countries, has announced their newest luxury experience to open this December in the Dominican Republic - The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. Featuring 288 expansive suite-style accommodations, including Swim-Up Suites, The Grand Reserve will also boast seven restaurants and bars, a full-service spa by Natura Bissé, Beach Club with access to the spectacular Bavaro Beach, family-friendly kids club and aqua adventure park, as well as a wellness facility with top-of-the-line gym equipment. Guests of The Grand Reserve will also have access to all of the amenities and services of Paradisus Palma Real.

Designed in the shape of a circle, the universal symbol of wholeness and perfection, The Grand Reserve will give guests the most luxurious experience in Punta Cana with brand new accommodations ranging from 800 to over 3,000 square feet. Suites feature either one or two bedrooms and a variety of amenities including living and dining spaces, ideal for entertaining, independent soaking tubs and walk-in showers, as well as private secluded balconies with hydro-massage whirlpool tubs and outdoor living spaces. Most noteworthy of the suites are The Grand Reserve's Swim-Up Suites. Offering one or two-bedroom accommodations, these uniquely luxurious suites have direct access to an exclusive pool, complete with lush garden areas and a solarium.

Located 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport on the famed Playa de Bavaro, The Grand Reserve is set to debut with seven new restaurant concepts, from a ceviche bar featuring fresh signature ceviche's, pokes and tartars, to a modern steak house with open-format kitchen and Asian-inspired concept featuring fresh sushi rolls. Also debuting this winter at The Grand Reserve is a Cigar Bar, where guests will have access to some of the best cigars in the Caribbean.

Co-existing with hotel guests will be an additional 144 suites for members of Circle by Melia, creating a total of 432 suites in the entire building. Launched in 2016, Circle by Melia is Melia Hotels International vacation membership program offering the highest level of exclusive services and amenities including private transfers, exclusive dining experiences, spa treatments and special add-on amenities for children and couples.

Guests will be able to experience an array of endless activities including a relaxing Beach Club along the vibrant Bavaro Beach and the Circle Studio featuring new state-of-the-art fitness equipment and wellness programming. The Grand Reserve will also welcome families with a new Kids Club boasting education-focused programming, along with dance and yoga classes for the entire family to partake in. An adventure-filled Aqua Park featuring water slides and aquatic games will also debut with the Grand Reserve's opening.

Offering 14 treatment rooms and a relaxation room, also debuting with the resort's opening The Grand Reserve Spa by Natura Bissé. Featuring products by the Spain-based beauty line Natura Bissé, the spa will offer signature services using the award-winning line utilizing avant-garde techniques with new technology for the most luxurious services for ultimate relaxation. In addition to the countless amenities offered at The Grand Reserve, guests will be able to Stay at One & Play at Three, with complete access to the extensive property offerings at both The Reserve and Paradisus Palma Real, with 15 world-class restaurants including Passion by Chef Martin Berasategui, who holds eight Michelin stars (additional cost), YHI Spa with Oriental Garden, five distinct pools and complimentary Life Enriching Experiences. Opening rates start at $510 per night, all-inclusive, double occupancy.
