Charlestowne Hotels and Curio Collection by Hilton proudly welcome The Foundry Hotel as the newest high-end, boutique property in Asheville, North Carolina. A historic preservation of the city's former 20th century steel foundry, the hotel joins Charlestowne's growing portfolio of adaptive reuse projects and is a celebrated addition to Curio Collection's global portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts. As The Foundry Hotel's management company, Charlestowne Hotels leads the property's ongoing operations, marketing, and revenue management. They also oversee the hotel's food and beverage program in collaboration with award-winning chef, John Fleer.

Located in the heart of Asheville's historic neighborhood called The Block, The Foundry Hotel combines two new buildings with three structures from Asheville's original foundry, which forged steel for prominent regional sites, such as The Biltmore Estate. Architectural components pay homage to the property's roots, such as original brick and hardwood floors, the former pulley elevator on display, exposed beams, steel-star fastenings and industrial-style windows.

The property features 87 guest rooms, including 12 suites ranging in size from 315 to 1,200 square feet. Guests also have access to on-site amenities including an elevated cocktail bar at Workshop Lounge, regionally inspired dining at Benne on Eagle, and a retail marketplace lined with locally-sourced items and stylish hiking gear. Groups can reserve 4,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space for weddings, meetings or corporate retreats, including a main courtyard curated by the North Carolina Arboretum.

Guest programming is inspired by Asheville's rich history and adventurous spirit, including neighborhood tours with a local guide, chauffeured drives in the Tesla Model X house car and Appalachian wildflower bouquet-making.

The hotel's culinary program, led by five-time James Beard nominee John Fleer, features Benne on Eagle, a 100-seat restaurant offering scratch-made dishes honoring the contributions African Americans have made to Appalachian cuisine. Workshop Lounge, a second-floor lobby bar, offers signature brews from nearby BearWaters Brewing and artisanal craft cocktails featuring locally-distilled spirits.

The Foundry Hotel joins Charlestowne's growing collection of adaptive reuse projects including The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens in St. Augustine, FL, The Fairlane Hotel in Nashville, TN, Hotel Clermont in Atlanta, GA and The Bristol Hotel in Bristol, VA. Known for a tailored, hands-on management approach, Charlestowne will integrate strategic sales and marketing initiatives along with significant community outreach to ensure the property reaches full revenue potential.
