Meliá Hotels International has announced its second hotel in Albania, the Meliá Durres, during an event attended by the country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama. The event also included the presentation of the Concord Group, owner of the group's hotels in Albania, as a strategic partner and investor in the country.

Thanks to new measures in Albania to stimulate tourism and the significant opportunity offered by the Concord Group, Meliá has taken the opportunity to get involved in the development of the hotel industry in the country and continue to extend its influence in the Mediterranean with the opening of the future Meliá Durres and Meliá Tirana hotels.
