Accor announced today it will open its ninth Art Series hotel in Perth's CBD in October 2019, heralding the arrival of the Art Series brand in Western Australia.

The dazzling $90 million hotel by developer George Atzemis at 900 Hay Street, Perth already stands at its commanding maximum height of 27 storeys.

Following the commencement of construction in November 2017 - by WA builder Jaxon - the tower has rapidly emerged as an iconic landmark of the Perth skyline, thanks to the development's visionary design elements and beautiful aesthetics.

Dedicated to Australia's contemporary artists, the fundamental design concept of the 250-room Art Series hotel will draw inspiration from its incoming namesake artist, with custom contemporary furnishings and original artworks and prints adorning the walls and halls of the hotel.

In another first for the state, the art-inspired hotel will also be home to a chic new international food and beverage destination, serving Mediterranean cuisine and the city's best cocktails. The venue will be centred around the hotel's stunning pool area on level one, directly above Hay Street.

Accor Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath, said the opening of this hotel will mark the arrival of Art Series Hotels in Western Australia and represents the Group's strategic direction to grow the brand.

Owner and Developer George Atzemis said he's thrilled to partner with the Art Series brand.

The new-build, full-service hotel will appeal to both business and leisure travellers with 250 stylish guest rooms, a signature restaurant with terrace, bar and lounge, ground floor café, swimming pool, gymnasium and a function room.

The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive internal fit-out and remains targeted for completion in September 2019.

Further details, including the hotel's namesake artist, will be released in the coming months.
