Following its incredible success in Hong Kong, the disruptive and award-winning hotel collection, Ovolo Group, is set to launch its innovative brand, Mojo Nomad, in Australia. Mojo Nomad South Yarra will bring a unique and exciting concept to the city of Melbourne and will become the brand's signature flagship property, once completed in mid-2020.

The Mojo Nomad experience is designed to break barriers and rules, challenge the status quo; it is unapologetically different, taking Ovolo Group and its founder Girish Jhunjhnuwala's own path irrespective of convention. It goes above and beyond to offer the best of the design hotel experience coupled with numerous accommodation options, innovative F&B and community-focused spaces by activating environments and allowing the future traveller to have a sense of self - the freedom to choose and live life their way.

This social hot-spot will offer approximately 100 rooms, which is an eclectic mix of sophisticated accommodation from beds, rooms, large rooms to suites - options young professionals and global nomads will have to become inspired by others on their travels.

Located in the heart of Melbourne's cultural hub of South Yarra and Toorak, Mojo Nomad is a hop, skip and a jump away from Chapel St and public transport hubs, giving the 21st-century traveller unparalleled access to the city centre, and promises to electrify the iconic local neighbourhood.

Keeping with the brand's commitment to integrating the latest in technology, value-added services, functionality and design, residents of Mojo Nomad South Yarra will never want for a place to plug in.

The design dream team of Woods Bagot Architect and renowned interior designers Luchetti Krelle have designed each room with a distinct personality, and to be equipped with all the needs of the future traveller whilst the shared rooms offer the utmost in privacy within the confined space, boasting privacy screens, TVs, reading lights and Bluetooth headphone capabilities.

All communal space aspirations have been fully integrated into the design of the building, along with residential areas that also include a cinema room, library, gym and lounge for residents.

Brokered by Savills' Michael Simpson, the project will be realised by Nick Argyrou of Argo Group and building firm Hickory Group, and managed by Drenka Andjelic of Construction Assignment and Pomoroy Pacific.
